Support
Mortgage Meadow is run by a small team, so you get a person rather than a ticket queue. Email hello@mortgagemeadow.app and we’ll usually come back within two working days.
Before you write: the one thing we can’t fix
If you have lost both your passphrase and your recovery code, your backup cannot be opened — by you or by us. That is not a policy we can make an exception to. Your figures are encrypted on your own device with a key we never receive, so there is no support override to apply. A way in for us would be a way in for anyone who compromised us, which is the whole point.
If you still have the app open on a device that is signed in, export your payments now — Pro tools → Export payments — before doing anything else. That file is a plain CSV, it opens in a spreadsheet, and it is the copy nobody can take away from you.
Things we can help with
- A sign-in code that never arrives
- Check the spam folder first — the code comes from no-reply@mortgagemeadow.app. Codes are six digits and expire after an hour. If you have asked for several in a row, wait a minute before trying again.
- Figures that don’t match your lender
- Expected, and explained in full on how we work out your figures. We apply interest monthly where many lenders apply it daily, and we exclude fees unless you enter them. Your lender’s statements are the authoritative record.
- Billing, refunds and cancelling
- A full refund within 14 days of buying, on request, no reason needed — including the one-time purchase. Cancel a subscription yourself in the billing portal, or in Google Play or the App Store if you bought it there. The terms set out the detail.
- Deleting your account
- You can do it yourself without asking us — see delete your account, which also explains what is kept afterwards and why. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription; those are separate.
- A bug, or a figure that looks wrong
- Worth reporting, and useful to us. Please don’t send us screenshots of your balances — describe what you expected and what you saw. We can almost always reproduce it from the shape of the problem, and it means your figures stay yours.
Answers to the common questions
9 of them are on the home page — whether we can see your balance, what happens if you forget your passphrase, whether the app connects to your bank, and what it costs. Worth a look before writing.
Not financial advice
We can help with the app. We can’t tell you whether to overpay, remortgage or change your rate — Mortgage Meadow is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and gives no personal recommendations. For that, speak to a mortgage adviser on the Financial Services Register.
